Mom made this quilt probaby sometime in the 80's. I don't think it had ever been washed, because it's in really good shape. She hand embroidered all 50 state flowers and then hand quilted it. I chose to show these states because I've lived in all of them. (Plus 2 more)









I sure do miss her...

Even through pictures on the Internet, you can tell she was quite good at embroidery. I hope you'll bring it to stitch group sometime so we can 'ohhh and ahhh' over it properly. ;)
