Mom made this quilt probaby sometime in the 80's. I don't think it had ever been washed, because it's in really good shape. She hand embroidered all 50 state flowers and then hand quilted it.

Even through pictures on the Internet, you can tell she was quite good at embroidery. I hope you'll bring it to stitch group sometime so we can 'ohhh and ahhh' over it properly. ;)
It's cool to see Mom's work posted on the internet! And I miss her too. I dreamed about her last night.
