It's been a weird weekend. Yesterday morning I had a really bad chest pain. I've had a few of these in the past few weeks so I decided it was time to call my doctor. He advised me to go to the ER. So since I was no longer in pain I drove myself to the ER--just about 3 miles. Some tests were done and the doctor there thought it would be a good idea for me to stay overnight. I had more tests, more blood drawn and 24 hours later I was home. All the tests were negative and I still have no idea why I'm having occasional chest pains.
After spending 24 hours in a hospital bed, I decided I needed to do something in my sewing room. I finished this little donation quilt (45 x 54). I used a new quilter this week and she happens to live in my neighborhood. Theresa C. did a great job quilting it and I put the binding on this afternoon.
It's the first of my UFO finishes for February.

my understanding is that a gallbladder "attack" feels very much like a heart attack ... this is according to my sister-in-law (who, i must add, has never had a heart attack, so i'm not sure how she knows) after rushing to the ER repeatedly for chest pain whilst still in her 20's ... i'm not sure what kinds of tests are run for gallbladder, though ... still ... i am happy to know that you are home (and i will worry about you, so you don't have to)...
Your quilt is great. I hope you are not suffering any more chest pains. Good idea to call the doctor anyway even after the pain stopped.
