I helped Timothy decorate his gingerbread house one day at his pre-school. Here are the pictures (in reverse, of course) First...the finished product. I think he was proud of it.

There was a lot of eating going on in between decorating. What kid doesn't love candy before 10 a.m.?

Here he is offering me candy before 10 a.m.

Timothy and Gabe posing in front of my fireplace.

That little bear at Timothy's elbow reads the entire "Night Before Christmas". He's my new addition to Christmas this year.

A fun time for sure. We used to decorate gingerbread men when the kids where little. One day I will do it with my grandkids.
don't you just love royal icing?!? i am still finding chunks of it from the last time we made gingerbread houses in my kitchen ... and that was a while ago ... it's just about the same color as caulking - ha ha ha!
Timothy insisted we MUST make cookies that he can cut out with a cookie cutter, so that's tomorrow's project. Wish me luck!
