Sewing with my sister

Over the Chrsitmas Holidays my sister Greta came from Missouri and spent six days with me.  We had a "sewathon".  We spent one entire afternoon shopping for fabric for her quilt and then she spent most of the next day washing and ironing it.
For some reason I have the same look on my face as I do when I light birthday candles.  Every single picture in which I'm lighting birthday candles!  Weird!

I finished this top while she ironed.  It's for the daughter of my friend who passed away in November.
She was my first friend in Texas so all these fabrics represent something about Texas.  I'm working on a second one for the other daughter.

This is what Greta accomplished while she was here.

All looked awesome. The daughters of your friends are two lucky girls. Sorry for their loss and yours of a friend
