Quilt Show

Wow!  Once again, I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted.  But I have a good excuse.
My guild quilt show, "Quilt Tulsa 2014" starts this Friday.  We will have 350+ quilts on display.  It's a judged contest.  I have 5 to be judged and 1 in a special exhibit , "President's Challenge 2013".  We have this show every 2 years and it has become the biggest in Oklahoma.

So, my last several days have been spent binding (got two quilts back from the quilters less than a week before they were due to be turned in), adding hanging sleeves, labels and tags.  I'm really tired of hand sewing!

In the middle of all this, my sister came for Memorial Day weekend and we made quilts!  Are you surprised?  Here's hers:

And mine:

Our sweet little granddaughter Nola is posing on one of my show quilts.  She's exhausted, too.  Last week she was very sick with Rotavirus and CDif.  She came very close to being hospitalized.  So here she is, feeling much better but her pose pretty much sums up the last couple of weeks.

Tomorrow, I help hang those 350 quilts.  If you're in the area, please stop by the Tulsa Fairgrounds, Central Hall on Friday or Saturday.  I'd love to see you there!
