So here I'll start with the icing on the cake of the great time I had at the show. I WON THE RAFFLE QUILT!!! Yes, me. I WON!!! I was never so surprised in my life.
Don't you see my surprise?! I think it's gorgeous.
I got an honorable mention on this quilt....
...and a third place on Tim's office quilt...
....but here's my most exciting news. I won a blue ribbon for hand applique/professional machine quilted. AND a huge ribbon and cash award for the BEST USE OF COLOR award. Here I am pictured with Donna Titsworth who quilted it. It was moved into the "winners' circle". I am so honored! And so excited!

Now, I must rest...until Monday when I have to help finish sewing for the new grandbaby's room.

I'm so excited that you won!!! It is an amazing quilt, so I have to say that the judges must know what they're doing! :)
I so wanted to come to the show. Friday we went to Delana's wedding and Saturday the first free moment I had was about 9pm. :( One of these days I won't have little ones and I can start doing more quilty-type things!
