Bluebird Lane Retreat.....Part 2
As promised here are some of the projects that were worked on by others at the retreat.
Carolyn....we were so thankful she was able to join us for a few hours for two days. She's an inspiration to us all and the most cheerful cancer survivor I've ever known! She got her binding sewn on.
I never know why some of the pictures are smaller than others. I load them all the same way. Oh well!
More pictures later. There were 13 of us at the retreat.

Bluebird Lane Retreat
This past weekend I got to go to Bluebird Lane Retreat Center for 3 days of quilting fun. This is the second time I've been there (it's only 30 minutes from my house). The two sisters who put this place together thought of everything! It's equipped for scrap booking or quilting. We don't have to take irons, lights, cutting boards, etc. it's all there! And the sleeping rooms are so cute and comfortable. The food is good and the snacks are plentiful! There were 13 of us there. It sleeps 15.
I got so much done! I finished this top:

Finished blocks
I finished the blocks to the Paducah Nine Patch. I started this quilt in a Pat Speth workshop in 2012.
The blocks aren't sewn together yet. I'll do that at the retreat I plan to go to next weekend.
