My quilt guild was lucky enough to get Sue Spargo come for 2 lectures and a 3 day workshop this past weekend. And I was lucky enough to get to attend. There were 4 of us from my stitch group. We had a great time! I didn't accomplish a whole lot but I plan to finish this project someday soon. I learned a lot about working on wool using different threads and different embroidery stitches and embellishments.
Included in the pictures to follow are: my unfinished project, Sue's finished project; my friend Leslie and me, Sue and me, my friends Emma and Judy; a couple of close ups of the bees and bugs we learned to make.

Lucky you! I can't imagine how much fun you must have had!
Loved the pics of the 4 of you and your projects. The fabric I saw was yummy! Anxious to see in person.
Looks like you all had fun. I am lovin' those bugs.
What you said was actually very reasonable. But,
think on this, what if you added a little content?
I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your blog, but suppose you added a title that makes people desire more? I mean "Sue Spargo Workshop" is kinda boring. You ought to look at Yahoo's front
page and note how they create article headlines to get viewers to open the
links. You might add a related video or a picture or two to get people excited about everything've written. In my opinion, it could make your posts a little livelier.
