Well, I got it together...the quilt top, I mean. I'm quite pleased with it. Not so pleased with the picture, but I'll take another one after it's quilted.
I've been lurking on your blog for awhile, but I wanted to poke my head out and say that I REALLY like this quilt top! The colors are not ones that I would choose, but they work very well together and make me reconsider my usual quilting choices. Hooray for new perspectives!
Oh Teresa...it's just beautiful! I really, really love it and I just love the colors as well. Are you going to quilt it yourself or send it out to your LA quilter?
I love red and black together. 8 of the blocks were given to me for my birthday. One of them had yellow in it (from my BFF) and it gave me the idea to add yellow to the quilt. I love the way it turned out. I'll be sending it out to a quilter.
